Academy Director

Andy Palmer has been teaching at Chichester High School since 2000.

He has been involved in all aspects of school life as a PE teacher. During this time he has worked his way through his FA qualifications and currently holds a UEFA B Licence in Coaching Football.

He has coached at all ages and levels of football whilst working for the Elite Training Centre in a number of centres across the south coast.

Andy has worked with a number of academy standard footballers and also developed players into the standard required by academies.

Andy’s focus on developing players is paramount in how his teams grow and progress.

Andy has worked with Gerry Murphy to get the Academy initiative up and running and will be driving the programme forward at every opportunity to ensure its success.

Assistant Academy Director

Gerry Murphy is a committed driven individual with the motivational skills to manage others.

Gerry is a UEFA B Licence Coach and offers a wealth of experience based on over 2 decades of coaching children and young adults as well as over 12 years’ experience in senior football.

Gerry has been Manager, Coach or Assistant Coach at Corinthian Casuals, and Walton and Hersham, Farnborough Town, Grays Athletic, Woking, Basingstoke Town and Bashley, as well as being an Academy Coach at Fulham FC.

Gerry’s experience will be extremely beneficial to the Academy as he started up a similar academy development programme at NESCOT (North East Surrey College of Technology).

Gerry has been working for Chelsea Foundation setting up and running development centres and mentoring coaches within the current foundation provision.

Academy Coach

Pani Stylianou is a motivated and experienced coach who is committed to developing the potential of young players as well as ensuring their success as young adults.

Pani has been working for Chelsea Football Club over the past 4 years.

He has worked as a Development Coach in the regional Elite Development Centres across Sussex and Hampshire as well as maintaining close links with the Chelsea Academy in Cobham.

Pani holds an FA Level 2 Coaching qualification as well as a FA Level 2 Youth Award.
